sirio .18tx in tmaxx

has anyone fitted a sirio .18tx in their maxx?

as I'm thinknig about getting one.

Yes. It's a direct drop in. If you have the stock pipe, you'll have to do a slight mod to it. It gives detailed instructions on how to do it.

According to the people in the touring car thread, they say the OS .18 TZ is better than the sirio .18. They were doggin' on me about puttin one on my rs4 3, saying how the TZ is so much better. I hope they are right. :hammer:

Now will a Tmaxx suffer from poor handling with a bigger motor like a .18?

no not from a handeling standpoint, but yes from a breakage standpoint.

well i have a sirio pipe to put on it.

plus i like to be different

if i can get it for cheap though, i will buy it as it comes with a rear exhaust.(its second hand and its had 2.5 litres of 10% nitro through it.)

ok I've just bought my sirio engine for 60 quid (105 dollars).

so hopefully it should be going faster soon.
