I have the sirio .18 for my maxx and was wondering if anyone runs the turbo "button" it comes with to run a bigger plug? If you run it what do you think? Should i change mine over? i have the bigger glow plug so it would just be a matter of changing it over. Thanks

Drop in the turbo button and run a turbo plug. Also, since you're using the turbo button switch over to 30% nitro fuel.
You'll notice a difference, but it won't be breath taking. You'll get a tiny bit more low end from the 30% and a tiny bit more top end from the turbo button/plug.
IMO it's worth it.

Thanks for your opinion, sounds good, I hoped more people would have replied to this but i guess not, maybe they dont use theirs. Thanks

The answer is yes you should at least try it. It will give an additional 1-2,000 rpms. You will get additional performance by adding one additional thin shim (can't remember thickness ) from the 3 piece head shim kit part # S18030010. Use GilBeQuick's recomendation and move up to 30%. You will be amazed when you do all of them at once and then take it for a spin. Did you install the big bore pipe?? If you have then great, if you haven't then you are missing out on it's best hop up.

my .02

edit...the head shim will require 30%. I wasn't very clear.

Good Advice from Glibe.....I agree with him that it's worth it if you don't mind paying $7-8+ dollars for a turbo plug....rediculous.

I never got a chance to run my Sirio .18 with the Turbo head as IME it's not worth the cost of plugs unless your doing Touring car racing on a track with long straights.

I am not into racing or "touring" whatever i am just a basher hittin my jumps in the front yard. Just wondering if the results are amazing or just minor.

The turbo button and plug will only stlightly raise the max rpms by 1-2,000. I ran mine with all of them done at the same time so the results were very noticable. 30% should be your next move. The head shim will give the additional combustion clearance needed for to acheive the max performace. Mine was still easy to tune.

That is one thing about that motor i really like is that it is pretty easy to tune. Don't want to lose that! If i can get ahold of some 30% i will have to try it out!
