I really like hearing good things about the picco .21, but I have to ask, is this engine supposed to be noticeably looser than a new 3.3? It has pinch but it's not as tight as my 3.3's have always been........normal? I know they're machined better and just better all around.....anyone?

Is the pinch best checked with the glow plug in or out? Let me know and I'll check it out. I've been putting my piston at BDC when I put the truck away, and it's very difficult (but not impossible) to turn the flywheel by hand with the plug in.

I could compare it to my 3.3 but that thing has like 5 gallons on it so....

I always check with the glow plug out on a cold engine. It's a very noticeable difference from picco to 3.3. I mean, it does have pinch just not like a 3.3 would.
