So here is the body that I painted for my RC18T. It was a buggy but I have decided to convert to a truck body for added room and cooling for my electronics as well as rpm shock towers. I'm still relatively new to painting, but I feel this turned out great for a basher body. I like them simple and clean, and this fits the bill. The silver pinstriping is external, but I didn't know if I would like it or not which is why they aren't quite finished. One is obviously shorter than the other, but I was just seeing how I liked the size and placement.

Sadly I'm thinking about selling my 1/18th because none of my local shops carry parts for them and not many people in the area care about 18th scale.

Thanks guys! It's not as clean now, it has some really awesome scuffs on the roof from hitting a rock at about 25mph and flipping a few times. It's actually a really neat paint job in the sense that, not knowing at the time, the white helps me see which direction it's heading when it's farther away. Believe it or not it ain't no shelf queen. I run it quite a bit on the pavement.

It started life as a Buggy, but I converted to a truck when I broke the front shock tower and decided that I wanted to replace with RPM towers. Sadly they didn't make them for the buggy but I wasn't against the added space for electronics. With this body everything stays a lot cooler as well.

Well I'm glad someone said something, I was starting to worry that everyone thought it looked like crap. lol

I should have the stripes fixed up and new pics with the battle scars soon.

I've painted a few others, but I have a little skill from years ago to build upon as well.

ALL HAIL PINK!

Yeah, that's right... get your digs in but obviously our women like it :)

Nice trucks man. Don't sell your RC18, they are always a blast to run when you get the itch.

In honor of my old RC18T, the paint has carried on to my 2.5 T-Maxx. :)
