Am loseing signal to the revo3.3 at diferent times. will go maybe 15 yds then drop to idle, couple seconds take off again theis revo is getting close to a parts car. I have changed out ever servo, went to a complete different 2.4ghz system and still same thing. Call traxxas and they want me to send it to them at a high price trouble shooting cost. Has any one had this problem before. I have 5 revo's total less the problem one and no problems with any of the others. One of the others is a car I took all the parts off of for the test I done and still does it. Then put all back on car it came from an runs perfect. all help will be appreciated. Next question, who makes a stronger servo that will fit the revo and work with the 2.4ghz system.
Thanks again
Geno

It could be a cut or crimped servo cable causing your problem. I would cjeck your throttle and brake servo wires.

Thanks Hams but that was all taken from another car An put on the problem car whitch didn't make any diff.

It doesn't have to be a servo wire. Crimped or smushed (New Word:)) wires in the rx,tx, power switch, or virtually any electronic component could contribute to it. +1 for hamz. By the description it sounds like a wire.

I'm having the same problem with my ofna lx2. I put a new steering servo on it and now the throttle does whatever it wants, will go and stop on its own....

Your problem sounds like metal on metal contact somewhere. I had a return spring vibrating against the throttle linkage one time and it did exactly what you're describing.

Hey thanks all I will be on top of it in the morning, got 2 of them doing it know. was out checking some shock mod's and it started doing the going to idle trick. again thanks
