We took the buggy out yesterday. Sunny but cold..38*.
Got it adjusted so it was running great. (I'm getting good at this).
We took it up to the middle school so we could have wide open space.Huge field for football and soccer etc..etc..We had a blast. Then, we decided on our way out, we would run it on the asphalt parking lot. WOT into a dirt transition from tar to field. I thought it would fly right over it. Head on. Dead stop. One flip onto it's top. Like a turtle. Everyone at once went......aaauuugggghhh!!!!
Both lower arms snapped. Dogbones bent. Shock plate bent. Chassis rolled up in front. Both linkage bent.
I want to replace all those parts with aluminum but on the Exceed website they are "sold out". I hate putting plastic back in.
I need to do some hunting.
Anyone give me some leads??
It's an Exceed Extreme 1/10, 4wd off road buggy.
But we had fun!!!!

Welcome to the world of the just one last run....I lost an airplane like that. I thought I had enough in the receiver pack for one last flight.....um I was wrong. It went dead in a full throttle vertical dive. I literaly had to dig it out of the ground. But here is a link for spare parts. I would stick with plastic because it is way better priced and metal breaks too....just cost a ton more when it does.

Must've been goin pretty fast to tally up that much damage.

My son loves to hear it shift into 2nd gear. And that happens at about 80 mph (or at least it seems like it). It was just about to shift.........lol. Any passengers would have gone through the winshield for sure. No air bags in this buggy.

It shattered like that because it was cold out. The colder it is, the more brittle the plastic is.
But hey, we enjoyed your story, and want pictures of carnage.

"and want pictures of carnage."
"got any pics of the damage, wanna see please!!"

You guys are sick. I think counseling is in order. There was no blood or detached body parts. Just things hanging in ways they weren't meant to hang.Bent, twisted metal, broken plastic, dirt EVERYWHERE!!
My bride took the camera. I'll take pics on Tuesday. I'll see if I can pinch my son and make him cry while he's holding the car..(lol)

If the carnaged car were surrounded by weeping children, we'd want some wallet sized copies also.

I suppose when I get it running I could run it into a group of pre K kids waiting for their bus. That should get some tears!! Probably some jail time too but hey.....ya play ya pay.
