WOW check these things outSICK EXHAUST these things are sweet as all hell I'm thinkin of gettin these pipes but i wanna know if anyone has experience wit these things and also just comments

Domination that is actually very cool looking but I would only question performance. Seems to me that it would have a hard time breathing on the exhaust stroke with all that extra pipe. I definitely could be wrong. They look nice though.

My 2 cents? Just another of many copper pipe exhausts. If you look on ebay you'll find a lot of those. And they are just that. Copper tubing. General consensus is that they are loud and useless. I have never tried one because I just don't trust them. You can get plenty of power from more conventional pipes that cost half as much. $68 for $5 worth of copper in my opinion.

how about the slimline rear duel exhaust or is there anything like the TSAIS side pipe for the savage for a T-MAXX

I prefer the term "pipe dream" when refering to those "pipes".

Hey, speaking of pipe dreams, maybe we could get HB to fashion a really nice community bong out of one of those....

ya guys, do they make a side pipe for the t-maxx like they have for the savage?? or can one be used on the t-maxx? i got the conversion so my manifold is close to where a savages would be. i might have to do some more reaserch on this.

I'm seriously glad I am not the only one here that thought those things were junk. I saw no actual performance advantage with one of those only a looks improvement even at that it is very small. Hell I think even the stock pipe is better than that nonsense.

Well you havent answered any of my question So do they make a side pipe for the MAXX like the TSAIS for the savage or can you use that same pipe on the MAXX??

EDIT- heres the TSAIS side pipe

those pipes you were talking about in the beginning are junk!!! i got sucked into that one:doc: ... the pipes are WAY too loud and there is little backpressure. the pipes are also heavy copper, and they take away power.

I put these pipes on and could not find a right tuned setting for them, take my advice, don't buy them:classic:

My cousin has that on his Savage and it is utterly useless if not a performance downgrade. IT seems that the backpressure from this causes the low end to really go downhill. Yeah it is cool and keeps that grime off your tires and chassis but this thing had no REAL performance. :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

I Dont know, I have my doubts about its power gian, but it looks kool. good for supermaxx, but for a cheapskate like me, no way.
:eyepatch:

It isn't a matter of "hate"; these pipes impact performance in a negative way. They are cool to look at, but I have yet to hear of one or see one that actually looks good and performs well.

As for the TSAIS pipe, I have not see one specifically for the T-Maxx. You could probably run it on your T if you were running a .21 engine. Why? It is not the ride that defines the pipe. It is the engine. The TSAIS pipe is set up for a .21 or larger engine.
