I'm thinkning of selling my savage, i want to try getting an atv. I dont know, but I'm selling this savage its about a year old 4 gallons through, comes with 2 extra carbs extra airfilters, extra glowplugs, fuel, 2 ignitors along with chargers, hump pack, stick pack roto, plus an extra roto.I got an offer for 450. Watcha guys think? Too low? or is that reasonable? Maybe after ill get a Xl.
 
I can back the "Cheap Rigs" statement, i just picked up 2 Revo's for £150 GBP each and an E-savage for £125 GBP.

$450 USD sounds excellent, especially after 4 gallons thru. snap his hand off for that money if you TRULY want to sell. Make a choice, stick by it, DO NOT regret it.

BTW, as an aside, $450 USD is £307.993 GBP

So, i think I'm going to sell it for $450 , gonna try getting a quad. Anyone know if they are good? like, if they break alot or have problems things to look for when buying?

Depends on what you get. I bought a used 2004 Sportsman 400 for $4000 (it had a bunch of aftermarket add-ons) and almost bought a '06 Predator for $3000. If you wreck 'em you will break 'em. Last two times out I broke stuff. First my throttle lever then my foot well. Both parts cost $150 to replace.

go for the atv, one day you'll be too old to ride them.... in fact, if i could go back, i would have went to tracks and made a career out of being a profesional rider, I'm sure a few years back i could have been sponsored
 
GONE for 440! i have a lot of parts still never used like voltwach brand new, brand new carburator, brandnew rotostart, a hump pack, o rings, etc shock towers i will post them up in sales section soon!
 
Easy way to remember......English or British.

When a sportsperson wins something, if they are Scottish, Welsh or Irish they are BRITISH...... if they are from England they are ENGLISH.

If they loose they are JOCKS (scottish) TAFFS (welsh) or PADDYS (Irish)

Its quite straight forward really.

It really depends. Don't get a cheap quad because if you break parts you will never be able to find them to buy. Get a yamaha, honda, suzuki, or kawasaki. You can always find parts for them.
