Ok, Someone Wants to trade me a Like New Hpi Savage 21 Truck. He is giving me everything that he bought with the truck. Also he will give me something called a Roto Start(I odnt know what that is.) He wants to trade for my Hpi Rs4 2(Mods: 2 speed, racing gear ratios, aluminum upper deck, x pattern tires, foam bumper, lynx radio, aluminum y brace, aluminum A-Arms, graphite disc brake, Hpi .15FE motor, Racing polished tuned pipe, Racing Hpi Ported Header, Fuel Filter, Reciever Cover, 1 truck f-150 body. My car is clean and works great. I have never had a off-road before but I do live in a neigborhood that you need a off-road(the streets are all sand and bad streets). Please let me know if i should do this trade. Also I was wondering, In a long race, would the savage win or my hpi? Please answer asap.

for me that would be a good trade but its up to you a rotostart is an electric starting system for the savage. oh probably your hpi would win on road but savage off road

You are comparing apples vs oranges. A MT isn't really geared for speed. It can be but where it really shines is the torque department. You will want plenty of this while you are bashing. Offroad is a lot of fun. It is even better if you have a small group that you can bash with.

The rotostart is an electric system that is used to start the engine on the Savage. It elimates the need for a pull starter. From what I have heard they are nice.

I think the deal it worth it....

Well, all of my friends have Hpi Rs4's (On road), so I will be the only one with a off-road. I am still thinking.

It sounds like you've put some bucks in your RS4. I don't know how much, but the savage RTR is about 390, and the roto is about 40 (give or take a few bucks). With a battery and charger for the roto, run the total up another 50-70 (if those are included).

I'd say if all your pals are running onroad and you like bashing with them, stay with the RS4, otherwise it's a toss up as to which end of the trading stick you're holding.

Just some thoughts,
Whitt....

Nice looking ride BTW.

Hehe, crush your friends cars with the Savage! If you have a place to run the savage then definately trade. The RS4 2 is an older car that is limited to on-road. The Savage can do both. The Savage would beat an RS4 2 in a drag race. If you had no one to race your RS4 2 with then I'd say definately trade, but you do. I bet after you get the Savge your racing buddies might go for one too after they see it work. Thats what I did when I was running on-road :D

LOL, I have one friend that has a tmaxx .21 o.s on it. Will my Savage beat it or what? I know off roading is fun because you can do jumps and all that. but on road is just on the road back and forth.

If that Savage is stock, no it won't. Drop a Picco 26 in it, and the Maxx is toast.
