I use shoe goo like most of u.
so one day I was out and after a few jumps and lid landings i cracked a lot of my cab on my body and i used shoe goo but it did not last long.so I was sitting around and found some thin steel rods like welding rods and and I found that if I place a piece of the rod in the corners of the cab and put shoo goo around it and smeared it around the rod.when it dried it was stiffer and stronger then just the goo by its self. It was like a smaller roll cage attached to the body. and I havent broken it yet. I know it is not as flexable as just the goo but some times u dont need flex.

The "Outdoor" variety of ShoeGoo seems to be a lot stronger. My brother just used some on his car and it seems to be a lot stronger. BTW, it comes in the green labeled tube.

Oh ya I have a nother use for the goo if u have a crack and it is pretty big smear some goo over it and then put some metal window screen on the goo that way when it dries their will be a shoe goo patch reinforced by the metal screen.

Battery bars, like for building packs works great on a body as a splint with shoe goo.

The sit nice and tight or can be bent to fit nicely and the small hole for the solder goves them extra hold.

Great stuff!
I even used it to fix a shoe not to long ago.

Hey I used it to fix my sandals...the bottom rubber seperated from the cork. It works great!

I bet Shoe Goo and some fiberglass cloth would work great to for fixing cracks on bodies.

I usually order shoo goo at the chinese resturant in town....it's pretty good w/ bamboo shoots and those little corn on the cob things!

LOL... never had it is it any good! :jk:

I didn't want to use shoe goo as a body fix since I would have to wait for it to dry before get a good use out of the body. So I chose to use a good strip of duct tape placed inside the body over the mounting holes since that is where cracks often most. The duct tape has worked out fine, is flexable and light, can hold the front bumper on a NASCAR during a race, can be removed and replaced very easy and doesn't need to take time to dry.
If the body is cracked more than anything repairable with shoe goo or duct tape, just buy a new body.

I only use shoo goo when I have time I also use JB weld. but I ripped my body in to 2 big parts i used a stapler to hold it together. it worked nicely. lol

I use it on my buggy bodys.
That thin strip before the nose ware they brake all the time.
A thin coat on the underside will do wonders.
I used Zap-a-dab-a-goo the other day and dont like it as much as shoe gue. It stays just a little to flexible for my liking.

home depot has clear liquid nails in a tube like the shoo goo and its under 3 bucks...

i am gunna pick some up and try it out ...

I use shoe-goo to attach fiber-glass sheeting/material/felt/w/e you call it; to the high-stress areas of my bodies.

I'm not sure, I bought it a long time ago. I think it's used in rc planes as well. I think I found it in the plane section. And, I have since lost the label, and all I remeber is that the label was red, lol.
