  1. Bashing
just wondering what shocks you guys are running for everyday bashing. not looking for an all out race shock, just something that can take a huge jump without bottoming out, trying not to spend a fortune either

Big Bores with RC Raven dual rate springs and 50 wt oil. Sick set up! Handles cornering at low and high speed with ease! I can rip my Maxx around a street corner at 75% power and slide'r all the way around! The dual rates LOVE big air and bashing too!

I run a 2.5 with 3.3 shocks because the Big Bores were a bit pricey for me at the time. I really like 'em, they perform quite well! Of course, I paid 20 bucks for the entire set, and the Big Bores are much more expensive than that :).

I run integy MSR8 shocks. they are beastly. I need to add more oil but they respond much better than my traxxas ones and offer better tuning then the traxxas ones. a lot of people say big bores so they are a safe bet but i say go big or go home and the MSR8's are the biggest you can get for a tmaxx. Alot of people dont like integy but as long as you build them right and get your oil right they are awosome plus if you bend the 4mm shafts your playing to hard which i dont see happening.

If you can find a complete set of pro-line power strokes Id jump all over them . One of the best shock sets made imo . I'm not sure why pro-line discontinued them . A friend has them on a MGT and they have never let him down . Also you can't go wrong with a set of big bores . Most hobby stores have rebuild parts or can get them quickly .
