For those of you out there with the Shocks Sox, how do you get them to stay tight on your springs?? I've got the Dynamite shocks set for my Maxx, and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get them on there good. Any tricks to putting these things on?

Thanks a lot,
Bryan

Installation kinda wears on the fingers a little bit but once you get 'em on there they should stay. Spring tension should hold them on there. Don't cover anything but the spring itself. The lower shock cup and the upper collar should hold the covers around the spring.

yes they are a great pain in the ass to get on, but if u got good ones they stay on the pretty good. i had just gotten some black ones in about a week ago and they make the truck look alot better and they keep my shocks a whole lot cleaner too.

I don't own any cars, but I'll go out on a limb without even making any searches and say "Yes, cars too".

If you don't want dirty shocks, install them, that goes for any car that a shock would be installed on. It also adds nice color so why not?

Yellow would look good but also look dirty quickly. You don't really have any color under your body yet, other than the red fuel cap, so you could go with whatever color you want and it'd look good. It's all personal preference man, go with what you like.

Sup dude,

I've got plent yof experience with on-road cars for obvious reasons on-road shocks and especially electric (obviously) don't get nearly as dirty as off-raod trucks. Even if you divert your exhaust on a T-maxx (for example) so it does't spray exhaust and fuel directly on the rear right tire, the shocks get dirty as hell every time we drive off road. I got some sweet soxs for my T-maxx and I've been loving them ever since as it's much easier to clean the soxs then it is the entire shocks. My point is that I wouldn't worry about shocks for on-road nitor or electirc unless you want the look of soxs but definitely for any off road rc and especially nitro rc car!!!

Peace
