Ok, the truck is running great. Now I would like to decrease the amount the rear end compresses on takeoff and at full trhottle. I am running 40W AE sock il now. Which would be better, increase shock oil weight, go to heavier springs (4# or 6#), or both? I'm thinking I might get a little more bite and quicker takeoff if the compression doesn't have to compress so the front is pointing to the clouds before the truck goes. I don't want too much that it breaks loose and spins. Open for suggestions.

Springs will adjust how stiff or loose the suspension is.
Oil will adjust how fast the shaft rebounds or compresses.

*****Usually, the heaver the spring the heaver the oil / silicon weight.

I hope this helps.

let me know how she soaks up a high sped turn. Was wanting less shock compression myself. The rear just squats so much it is effecting the way she jumps. But on the other hand, it turns nice at high speeds without flipping. let us know.............

i have the 4# springs on my savage. the rear end does not sqaut half as bad now and it will handle jump better but the truck definately flips more often in a high speed turn. but without lowering the trucks cog then it will always be tippy. i am going to increase the shock wieght also to 35, and hopefully this will also stop the truck from squatting.
