shock upgrade

I have a slash 2x4 and broke the front set of shocks...my question is it worth it to upgrade to aluminum big bore or just stick with the stock ones? Any suggestions on a good set, thanks

I always try to upgrade from the stock shocks. I've never had any problems with the Traxxas branded upgrade shocks on any of my Traxxas trucks.

If you upgrade anything I would start with the suspension. A stronger suspension setup can actually help in preventing other components breaking because of the cheaper stock parts
