I use team associated 60wt. oil and i love it with trinity blue springs, and i have quite a bit of weight with my new cage (you can see it in gallery) so it helps to have a little higher wt oil in mine.

I haven't played with shock oil much. Whats a good brand/weight for the maxx?
If my memory serves me correctly stock oil is 30 wt.

If you want to play around with the oil you will get more dampening with heavier viscosity oil vs. less with lighter viscosity oil. For bashing I'm using 60 wt with Trinity blue springs all the way around. You will get different responses from different combinations of springs and shock oil. The problem is what works for me may not work for you so to speak because of the difference in weight of our MTs. I have a bag full of springs and shock oil that didn't or hasn't worked out yet. I haven't tried a brand of silicon oil that seemed to work better than another sense all of them are 100% silicon oil to my knowledge.
You will probably get a lot of answers using a forum search.

I run 60W silicone in my T-Maxx shocks (all aluminum AE shocks) with Trinity Blues on the front four and half and half Blue and Black on the rear four. The truck handles jumps great.

A cheap and effective mod for stopping the bottoming out...bump stops. Cut a 3/4 to 1 inch length of fuel tubing and place it over the shaft between the rod end and the bottom of the shock case (yes outside of the shock case). This mod will stop the shock from fully compressing and thus disable the bottoming out phenomena.

Ok I want to get the integy piggback system on my Tmaxx but I also saw the new POWERSTROKE damping system from Pro-line. Can anyone tell me if these are anygood. I would like to have an actual user tell me if they suck or if they are worth the money.
Here is the lnk to see the Proline Powerstroke http://www.prolineracing.com/proline.html
