What is a good shock oil for a basher that can with stand rough landings and running on dirt?

Also can anyone tell me how to talk apart the shock it-self to get to the spring?

you have to compress the sping, but not the piston. the outer shaft end has a slot that lets you pull off the cap and spring.

... what am i? chopped liver?

i just answered! you don't have to take the shock apart to get to the spring.

examine the damn thing... you'll figure it out, /sigh.

I found that 4.9 springs in the back and 4.4 springs in the front with 50wt oil helped considerably with bashing, been jumping 10-25ft with absolutely no problems, i also have metal shock caps and metal shock mounts to prevent those breaking.(I broke the plastic stock caps and mounts a few times and learned that I needed something stronger.)

You might also want to upgrade to the Titanium Nitride Shock Rods to help prevent bending.
