hey I've seen these shock covers are they usefull for anything or are they just for looks :jet:
 
i run them on my shocks. i like them cause they keep everything clean inside. i use them mainly cause i like to run my truck in mud and really dirty sandy areas where i dont want that kind of stuff in my shock on on the shaft.

i have them on my t-maxx and on my sportmaxx and they work great. keep the shafts nice and clean. but after while though, with enough mud and dirt the shock socks can look pretty bad( i got the blue ones and after about 6 months of bashing without washing, they look bad). I would get them definately. check out eBay. 8 shock socks for $5 plus they give u a extra shock sock. they call them "shock sox"

I would use the ballon therory WDH had done in the how to section for bashing. The others I would use for maybe show.
 
I made my own and for how little they cost, I like them alot better than the balloons. Maybe I just got bad balloons, but after about a week they just split and fell apart. My homemeade socks are still going strong...

balloons suck. they fall apart and rip after very little bashing unless u get some serious heavy duty balloons.those party balloons dont work. i would rather pay $5.00 for shock sox made from fabric that last a long time, then fuss with balloons that dont last at all..

hmmmmmmmm i guess ill get the shock sox for min i dont know is it just a waste of money or what.
 
its totally not a waste of money, for $5 plus a couple bucks for shipping from a guy on eBay. just do a search as "SHock Sox" exactly as that says and it will bring them up and he has lots of colors and for the t-maxx and savage.

um i dont no, i no that my lhs dont carry them. i would just go off of ebay and get them. u can probably get them cheaper on ebay also

i dotn think they would be at ur local hobby shop. mine doesn't carry them. plus they would probly charge more. get them from eBay its the best way to go.
