I just got my TMAXX 2.5 and it will not go. It is very slow off the line and the tranny started to make a clicking sound. I'm not sure if something is out of wack. HELP

how old is it? like brand new or a few weeks or what? cuase if it is new the engine is still working itself in a little bit. if not u might have something wrong with the tranny.

It's about 2 month old. I think it had about 1/2 gallon ran through the motor. I bought it used, but from a adult friend that barely used it.

hmmm, i think that ur engine needs a little bit of tuning. what does it sound like when u are taking off? kinda like it is choking? cause if so then u are bogging out which is too rich.

It runs good. It seems like it idleing a little high

take and idle it down a little bit. is it shooting out a nice stream of exhuast?

If I take this to the local Hobby shop what should I buy to beef up the -Tranny-Clutch. And how much do you think they will charge to tune it up.

um, for the tranny and clutch what do u mean, like metal gears or for gear ratio's? my lhs charges like $15 to tune them up, so somewhere around that price range

Thanks I'm going to take it in tomorrow. It just sucks that I just got it and it is driving like poop.
