I'm not sure if my shifting servo is wrecked or not. when my batteries are full it shifts alright. But after about a tank of fuel it doesn't shift all the way. it stays in neutral. Is it the adjustment or is it the servo?

You could have a loose connection and the vibration from the engine is causing your problems. Check all your joints and cords before you suspect a screwed servo.

It's also possible that something is slightly out of alignment, and when it warms up, it starts to bind.
Also, make sure it's not idling higher when it's warm. That will also keep it from shifting properly.

oh ic. well I just busted a spur gear trying to shift. Does that make a difference?

Replace the spur, then figure out the shifting. Always take care of problems when you first notice them. Force them, and something else will break.

T maxx reverse sucks! Best thing you could do for it is to do a forward only conversion and yank that shifting servo right out. Best low dough performance you can get for a maxx.

does the FOC increase the performance of a T-Maxx or just make it so you don't have to worry about reverse breaking? I've never really gotten an answer to that and I always wonder about it.

It definitely does! It removes a ton of crap from the transmission, a clutch assebly, a bunch of rotational mass and weight, as well as the need for one less servo. It also makes it take off like a raped ape since you removed the clutch from the transmission and the reverse gears replacing it with just the foc gear there is no delay and the forward operation of the tranny is instant. Remember those jerky starts especially when your maxx was new, that is gone forever with the foc, just immediate hook up! I waited forever to do mine, the only regret I had was I didn't do it sooner.
