Well some of you may remember this newbie ( Me ) that wrecked his friends Tmaxx. Then screwed the antenna up trying to put it back together :OMG:
Anyways, I got my last batch of parts ( I thought) in today and screwed everything together. This afternnon I took her out to make sure everything worked before I handed her back over to my friend. This turned out to be a good thing. The truck was acting cray when I would throttle her up. She would do multiple things : rev very high, be stuck in a neutral take postion or simply die. If I babyed her she would put around but once I went WOT, she would totaly die. I then noticed the filter would have a small effect on it while I was poking around at idle. The I would WOT her while I moved the filter and she would then take off out of her neutral stated of shock. I thought for a second and noticed how much the motor moved when I jazzed the throttle. So finnaly I bent down and set there by it and jazzed her a few times.
ERURIKA :hump:
The motor was missing what look like to be only one bolt/ washer that bolts the motor to the mount/chassis. When ever it got enough torque going through it, the gear ( which ever it's called) would pull away from some other gear. I'm in a bot of a hurry at this point and haven't had a chance to see if anything else is wrong with the truck. If anyone has a few screws for a Tmaxx motor to motor mount laying around.. I wouldn't mind buying them.
Thanks
Ray
