hey I'm looking for a .28 for my truggy roller and i need a motor I'm not racing it or anything just flogging around my back yard or bmx track I've seen Sh engines all over ebay cheap as chips was just wondering if they are alright or not

SH engines are not too bad for the price you pay for them. They are WAY better than an Axial engine. All things considered they are a decent value priced basher engine that will last pretty well if broken in correctly.

I had to replace my .28 SH in my buggy because I didn't break it in properly, I wouldn't recomend them but they are the best cheap engines because they are extremely powerful. If you decide to go with an SH .28 go for the 5 or 8 port for a max of 4.0hp, however you MUST properly break it in with at least 8 tanks and it is very hard to tune
(Spoken from experience)

The SH P8 .28 has the exact same internals as the LRP spec 3, the only difference is the cooling head. SH does make junkers as well, I would stay away from the $100 3 port engines as some if not all have a nickle coated sleeve, not the much harder and long lasting chrome like most engines.
