Do the a-arms in the pic look stock or aftermarket?...i wanna set my shocks like how they are in this pic. I dont have my savage with me right now so i can't compare. Will the stock a-arms allow me to do this? I havent ever noticed if there is a spot to screw the shocks in off to the side like that.

I could be wrong but I don't think the shocks are screwd into the a-arm, the could be there just to be out of the way, but disconnected from the actuall mount???? Those a-arms do look stock to me though.

T he springs do look like there in an unloaded postion. I don't think there hooked up my :2cents:

LOOKED again the lower arms are not hooked up no pins in them

What they said.

shoot, and i was hoping it could be done...was looking for something different to do :hammer:

woah.woahhh..hold the phone!! I just found these. What if these where the a-arms in that pic except for being silver. Would it be possible to set the shocks up that way????

It looks like theres a screw on each side?,,,one per shock.

I have those in purple on my savage. The stock arms have holes on either side aswell. Since there are 2 shocks on every corner there has to be two mounts. I guess its possible to do, but you'd have to drill some holes, I don't think its really worth it.

Why would you want the shocks like that? It will kill your performance and savage performance(handeling) is practicaly already dead imo.

What are you trying to get out of the truck..?

What are you not likeing about it..?

Or are you like me and can't leave anything stock what so ever... lol

honestly, I think it would be a PITA to tune and may actually be bad for your shocks. no performance gains I think

I totally agree. Looking at that pic, the front shocks are not connected to the lower arms. There are plenty of ways to tuns your shocks using the stock mounting holes. Really depends on the conditions you are setting up for.
