I want 2 waterproof servos (throttle and steering) so can someone give me the part numbers for the traxxas ones thx.

Seal the box with blue rtv. Shrink wrap to hold the antenna tube where it goes. With some time and a little effort, you can water-proof your servos too. Lot's of how-to on the net. Just don't let your servo gears fall out! Be careful. Took me about an hour to do all 3 on my maxx. Snow romped with no problems, though I DO NOT GUARANTEE this procedure. Depends on patients, experience, and good eyes. I obviously got lucky!!

You can waterproof your electronics, but you can't waterproof your engine. Water does not compress. So, if you get even a drop or two down your intake, it's history.

Just .02

Not necessarily. My RC10GT went apesh!t full throttle at a drainage pond at a construction site. I thought it might make it across as it was going atleast 60 mph! I mean just ripping with no radio control! Then right before the water, it hit a dirt clump, flipped over upside and landed directly in the water! Hydrolocked immediately. I thought my new FR15 was toast. I pulled it out of the water, took the glow plug out, pulled the pipe off and drowned it in after run oil. I then gave it several pulls to get the oil and water out and repeated. Next, I filled the head and case with fuel and gave it a few pulls. Crossed my fingers, put the mill and pipe back in the truck, lit the plug, and she turned right over and ran strong ever since!

Obviously I wouldn't recommend water in the motor! Take all precautions!

I have ran mine in water probably one quarter of the way up the reciever box so over the seal, that hieght is just from the wave to the actual depth but it was over the reciever box seal. I have never had a problem with my reciever at all and I have also had it soaked in snow.
