Savager you are going to need speed and torque. More torque than anything really. I dunno when the truck get's going though it does quite well on it's own for turning. I think the deal is just when it is sitting on the ground it doesn't turn so hot. I am running a HI Tec 945 for my Steering servo. It works swell. Later.
 
what do you guys think is better for steering in a buggy. hitec 945 or 925?

One has more torque but less speed and the other is just the opposite.

I've read that you want at least 130 oz of torque for MTs and buggies for steering and something like 80-90 oz for throttle/brake (mainly for the brake). I would get the 945.
 
Yeah I vote 945 It has plenty of torque and is hella fast as far as I am concerned. It turns the tires on my savage quite well.
