iam looking for a good high torque stering servo for my maxx and iam not sure what to go after somithing around 50.00 or under

What C listed is a great servo and its digital its around 55 bucks

here is the little bro to that same thing almost just not digital
hitec 645 35.00 free shipping this is what I run in my non race trucks. X

well somebody told me about the cirrus cs 80 is that any good?

I use the servo that Çh®i§tiªñ mentioned. It was so good on my initial runs with it, that I went out and bought a spare just in case my poor driving habits killed it prematurely. So far, the new one is still in its box.

I will simply say you get what you pay for. I have heard lots of issues with keeping these servos centered Ed will bash them because of that but the man with the golden hand Retread praisese them so take you own chance I say go with the 645 if you want to save money.

I bet if you let your bashing partner drive your truck he could find a way to kill that Hitec

LOL...you're probably right. He does tend to bash the heck out of his own servos; although I am at times mystified as to how he manages it, I don't think I will let him experiment on my T.

What do you have to change to use digital servos (other than the servo itself - edited not to give x any ammo), and what are the benefits over analog?

No center pod.

Dont need to change anything else.

It is however suggested that your transmitter have End Point Adjustments. This will keep you from roaching it early.

Otherwise, hitec makes some kickass strong NON digital servos that are even less.

I run a Hitec 605MG. It's not as powerful as the 645 but it's better than the stock one. If I had to do it again, I'd go with the 5645. For that much torque and durability, you can't beat the price...
