I'm so tired of tearing down this emaxx!! I've torn down and rebuilt it no less then 8 times and i havent even drivin it yet!!!

ok heres the deal. I got 4ws set up on it. I'm running 2 hitec 645's for the steering. The stock traxxas servo savers wont fit the hitec splines SO i order two of these

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXS362&P=ML

i tear it down AGAIN, put in the servo, with savers. get it all put back together, test the steering off the ground and its all good. Set the truck on the floor (tile) and hit the wheel, nothing.... the servos move (i can hear them) but the wheels dont. the savers are TO SOFT!!!!

now my question is, (befor i blow any more money on this thing, already bought 2 savers and a servo reverser i dont need!!)

will this saver work better??

someone PLEASE HELP!!

I'm not even running oversized tires!! just stock savage x shoes!!!!

Get the Associated MGT servo savers. They are much stronger than anything Kimbrough makes.

I use two in my LST.

but will they fit the hitec 24 tooth spline?? that is the problem. the stock traxxas ones are strong enough, but wont fit the servos

those look like teh wiener! anyone else got some feedback on these?

anyone want to buy a couple of the red ones?? :)

yea i went with the second because it was specificaly for the hitec servo's didnt realize there was a difference in the spring strength.

the stockers arent good, but there better then those red ones. at least with the stockers the wheels moved... lol

i just want something strong, I'm running a 645 for steering so its metal gear, but i wont be going really fast so it wont take to much of a beating. are those pretty strong smaxx?

edit, those wont work for the rear, the holes arent far enough apart for the two tierods..

Yes they are strong, those are the ones I ran on my TXT with hitec 645's

If the holes on the little red ones were far enough apart these will work, they are a little wider.

those must be way bigger, cause they dont look like they will fit. the red ones were just barley wide enough! I'm having to connect two tierod ends to it.

I'm having to connect two tierod ends to it.

You can put two rod ends on it, I have also used these on a Stampede, you have to use two rod ends on the pede also. They are bigger than the red ones, they are a hair bigger than the traxxas saver.

I have the same on on my Tmaxx right now and it works nicely enough. Might have to do just a big or work on it. I melted another, larger tab on top of the existing one to accommodate the tie-rods on my Tmaxx.

As for how strong it is it seems like it will take a hit and keep asking for more. My wife ripped mine apart to clean it one day while helping me tear my Tmaxx down and I spent three hours trying to get the darn spring back into the casing.
