Servo Saver Needed?

I know the name "Servo Saver" speaks for itself, but: I just installed a new steering servo and the servo saver inner mesh doesn't match up with my new servo. Would it just be detrimental to my servo if I didn't use one?

BTW, this is on a T-Maxx.

running without one would indeed be bad, it is there to keep you from stripping the servo gears. Get The Kimbrough servo saver, it will come with three adapters for the spline, they are only about $6

Another slightly more expensive option, and one that comes highly recommended is the Pro-Line steering kit. It basically replaces the steering posts and linkage with a built in servo-saver mechanism. It is pretty rugged.

I have used the Kimbrough Servo Savers and they are rock solid, but if I were spending more money on my T-Maxx, this would be where.

The UE and the ProLine are virtually the same kit. The ProLine is less expensive. You might want to take a look and compare.

k, i was just wondering because the UE kit looks like it is aluminum and the proline is plastic?
