servo problems

i need some help well i thought my throttle servo went out cause it stoped working so i bought a new one and installed it and that wasent the problem i checked and made sure ever thang is still pluged in and it so i dont know what the problem is

the steering ones do but the forward and reverse one dosent work ether when i use the remote

Sounds like the receiver is taken a dump on ya. Swap the connections around to see if the servo work on the other channels. Make sure your batteries in both TX/RX are good and try again. Do you have a failsafe? If a failsafe have went faulty that could also be the problem.

i thank its called the pti driver sound right is bad i pluged the servo straight to the receiver and it worked just ever thang thats pluged to that pti driver for some reason ant worken but when powered on the blue and green light comes on or does that matter

the optidrive was probably in failsafe mode ....you still have steering but no throttle /brake

that correct how do u take it out of fail safe mode

is there a red flashing light on your optidrive ?? ..if not , then its not in failsafe mode ..if so , charging your battery should fix it ...but i did have glitches before with the optidrive ...reprogramming it cured it

ok now it will go into forward and reverse but still no throttle

do you have the old or new servo in it ??..check the wires ...or redo the procedure

the new one is in it now i did the reset many times and still nothing

Have you tried plugging the throttle servo directly into the receiver and bypassing the Opti Drive?

well in that case , your optidrive might be dead or have a bad wire

forward only conversion and get rid of the optidrive. less problems for the future. only electrical i have is 2 servos and a receiver. the rest is mechanical so problems are generally non existent as you dont even have to trouble shoot to see whats broken.

right on well i dont know if i want to get rid of the reverse might just replace the optidrive but idk but thank yal for the help

i like having reverse to ...and without the optidrive it will go full throttle in reverse ...if you drive it without the optidrive , make sure you get a failsafe ...the one in the radio will not work for low battery voltage....and be careful not to shift while the truck is moving

reverse is just trouble. i thought i needed it but since not having it i dont see why....

Can u just by pass the opti drive and go start to the reciver or what do u need to get to keep reverse or what do u need to get rid of the reverse that make since at all lol
