I was running my truck today....and i ran it for about 2 minutes...then i lost all steering to my truck...idk maybbe its becuase of my battery pack....but i let it sit for a bit to kool down and i trent the resver on and tryed to turn the wheels and they wouldnt turn....all i hurd was my servo makeing a weird loud noise....maybbe u guys can give me some suggestions!

ok here are some suggestions
1 the servo gears are stripped
2 the recevier battery is low
3 the servo got wet ? since your in jersey and the snow we got on the east coast its possible

sounds stripped!!
O well, think of it as the time you get to upgrade to a metal gear high torque servo :)

This happened to my first savage. For some unlucky people the stock servos dont last long While your at it should do the servo saver upgrade. That will help steering alot.

I'm not that familiar with the savage, but you need to isolate the problem. Disconnect the servo from the steering linkage and see if it works without a load. While this is disconnected move the steering linkage by hand to see if there is any binding.

Mine did the same, one of the gears in the stock steering servo broke.
