Servo Help Please

I hust bought a HItec HS-645MG and can't figure out how to get it to work for the steering servo. Any help would be great.

Which adapter am I supposed to use or do I use the stock one.

OK I got the servo on and left turns right and vise versa can I take the plug and flip it over to change polarity or will this damage something.

If your radio has servo reverse switches check those, or you just might have put it in backwards.

the plug will only fit in the reciever one way do not turn it around.

It is in the savage and I put it in the way the manual said i think. If I change the button on the remote labled st to the n position where as before I had it in the r position will this make any difference and thanks very much for your help. Matt

On the Savage remote, the switch labeled ST is for the steering servo. The N refers to normal, and the R refers to reverse. If the servo is turning opposite under on setting simply switch it to the other side. You should be good to go. Your other option is to remove the servo and switch a couple of wires at the plug. Then you can leave the switch alone. What's the easier solution? Since you already have the servo mounted, throw the switch on the remote.

Do you know if the HItec HS-5645MG servos are compatable with the stock HPI TF-4 remote system?

I can't speak to the compatibility, but I haven't had any problems yet.

As for the plugs, they come with plugs to fit most standard receivers. I use a Novak receiver which takes Futaba plugs, and it works just fine.
