Hi i was out bashing with my truck just now and all of a sudden the steering went to the right dunno why it just lost radio contact with the transmitter, so i had a look at the servo to see if it was still ok and it was but i then plugged a different servo into the steering slot in the reciever and it worked, so my guess is that the steering servo is broke, not sure what's wrong with it?

i've only had the truck 4 months and had 2 3/4 gallons of fuel through, there's no damage to the servo at all (it's the first time i took it out) so would HPI replace it if i sent it to them?

This savage is just as bad as my t-maxx always breaking, if it's not the moving parts then it's the electrics!:flaming: :argue:

YOU kind of confused me. It's early and I'm slow.

What is the servo in your truck doing? Is it ok?

Is the problem with the "test" servo your plugged in?

What exactly are the symptoms..

the servo n my truck is going to the right and not moving when i turn the wheel on the transmitter.
the problem is with the servo that is already in the truck. it just dosen't respond to anything.

I would guess that it took one too many shocks and something gave internally, whether it be an electrical circuit or a gear. I had a servo do a similar thing to me so I sent it in to be repaired and cost me $10, no big deal. It was an Airtronics servo, got it back and it works to this day.

but it's the 1st time the servo has done that and i was thinking of sending it to HPI and maybe get a new servo.

It depends on how long you want to wait for the servo to get back.

If you have a replacment send it in. The worst they can do is send it back to you unfixed heh. You can also call and check before you send it to save you postage if you are on your own.

Try opening the servo and check out the gears inside. If the gears are broken, HPI may not honor your warranty, you can try, but I'm not sure if they would.
