2018 servo is used for throttle/brake, and shifting forward/reverse.

2055 is used for steering.

Whats the diferance? more torque? more movement? self centering? DIFERANT SIZE/SHAPE ?

I am wondering if I should try a 2055 on the shift linkage....thats why i ask.

More torque. 80oz for the 2055 vs 47oz for the 2018 at 6v. The 2055 may be quicker also. The shape is only slightly different because of the larger motor in the 2055.

i am having the same prob now i replaced the streeing servo an its just not right i just though i was stupid lol i didt realise you would need one with more power to turn it dos any one know were i can get one thanks cockers

I think everybody will tell you to stay away from the stock steering servo. (for steering)

I was thinking of putting a used steering servo on for my SHIFT servo. Because the factory shift servo is weaker than the steering.

So........ the weak steering is better than the weaker shift. Got it??

What you wanna do for steering is get a STRONGER steering. What have you got on there now?

I'm using two 2075s. One worked pretty good before I put two in. You can pick them up on ebay for under 20 bucks. Waterproof too.
