I've been into nitro r/c for about 3years and live in a small town in middle tennesse. I've had 2 HPI RS4's, an origanal and a type3ss and a T-MAXX, I built the belt drive RS4 out of a small hobbytown usa that use to exist about 40min. from here.Since they shut down I'm having trouble getting parts,I ordered the carbonfiber radiotray and shocktowers for my RS43ss 2.5 weeks ago from another hobbytown thats about 2 hours from here and I had to speak to the owner today about my order,he said(they couldnt find where it was on back order or anything, looks like we never order it?)so he personally order it again, should be in by next tuesday????WTF man?? can anyone recomend a good on-line r/c store? skrew driving 2 hours for this bullshit. I want one that yall have had good multiple experiances with, none that you only ordered 1 or 2 times from and might have got lucky.also as an audiophile I had trouble finding service from soundshops so my brother introdeced me to CRUTCHFIELD it was only a catalog company then, but the absolute best in service, they knew there products and adored the customer, getting the product to you with a great quickness and even went so far to pay return postage if for some reason you wasn't happy with your purchase??are there any r/c companys like this?? please help!:constipat :constipat :constipat :constipat :constipat :constipat

Well the first thing I have to say is that Crutchfield is (at least it was when I was into car audio...many many moons ago) an absolute friggen ripoff!!! They may have good tech support and they may know their crap but they were completely overpriced. For example I bought a SONY headunit back in the day that Cruthfield listed at nearly $500. I paid less than $300 at my local shop. I used to get their catalogs just for part numbers and ideas on new hopups but I never bought from them because they were Sooooooo overpriced.

As for online RC shops the first place I would look is under LINKS at the top of this page. I highly recommend Tower and Horizon they are great. Horizon technical support is out of this world.
