i am fairly new to this hobby and well i have a revo 3.3 that i am up grading the engine on to a sirio.23 i have been browsing around the net and different forums about the engine and i have read about there being some carb problems is this true and if so is there any way of sealing of the carb so that it does not leak. and also what are the symptoms of a leaking carb... sry for all the questions guys just trying to prepare for the worst. thanx in advance!

if i could help you in any way at all it would be . to have you not get the sirio.23
iv had 3 of them and they are compleat junk everyone i know that has had one . went to crap. fast. and can't get replacement parts.

but if you still wanna get it. the sirio carb tends to were out the o ring on the carb shaft makeing it leak bad and not hold tune at all. i just replaced with a bigger stronger oring that would fit it. then it worked ok for a bit.

but really go with a better engine like os or ofna. or wasp

wow... well its actually a liltle to late to turn back now because i received it in the mail today and installed it and all oh well anyways thanks for the input!

Here are a couple threads to help you with ays to check for air leaks. Checking for air leaks when your engine dies or has erratic idle.
