i need to have my engine working good for Sunday while I'm waiting for my FR18 and i need to seal my backplate. Could i use some JB Weld or will it not be a good idea

A JB WELD what the heck are you doing, just use lock tite, why would you weld it?? :whhooo:

y would u use loctite on the engine plate or JB weld? if u do a search u should find a brand of like silicone sealent or somethin.. i forget the name of the stuff.

I'm not going to literaly weld it LOL this is JB weld and also i dont think loctie would work its too liquidy and i did use some jb weld but my needles are messed up on my carb so i can't start it at the moment.

i it is permanent but not really how i did it. I put just enough to seal up the back plate and i put more liquid steel stuff than i did hardener since you have to mix the two together so it will come off if need be but prob wont be the easiest but i made sure i didnt put more than was needed.

jb weld is what it says it is will bond two parts together. just like welding it you will not get the back plate off after useing it. your mill will be toast...

hopefully u didnt put too much on there and it got in the engine. :OMG: let us now if u actually get ur enigne running once u get the needles sorted out.

belive me ill get it apart I've used JB weld to do similar things before i made it like a 3to1 mixture or more

no the engine deffinatly runs the HSN is ok so if i put my TX on the rev seting it will start right up and run but my LSN is all screwed up i think its clogged cause it doesn't even attempt to start
