hey guys i want to replace some of the screws on the savage and some parts

preferably with hex head ones,

anyone know of a cheap screw kit or what screws are what.

its mainly the chassis screws i want to replace the ones that hold that hold the chassis plates together and the 4 side engine mount screws ect

i want to replace hpi part numbers - Z613 / Z632 / Z634 / Z644 / Z649 / Z792

so mainly the M4 screws

I'm also looking for the centre skid plate and adjustable upper arms ( used parts are ok )

i buy all my screws at the hardware store also. i dont mess with chrome or polished, all junk in my opinion, just the grade 12 superhard in my shed!

so far i have replaced all 8 engine mount screws ( for the engine mount and plate )

looks like thats all that needed replacing so far. but for the hell of it I'm going to replace the 4 M4 screws for the chassis plates

Do you have a Fastenal in your area? You can buy boxes of 100 screws for $5-$20, and they will sell smaller orders. No shipping.

I got the Tony's kit---it was missing some however. Can't say they are stronger but they are hex--which is why I got them.

well i have just ordered the remaining M4 screws so all the chassis screws will be stainless steel hex,

all the chassis screws will be stainless steel hex,

Is this a Shelf Queen?
Stainless hardware on a land based RC your going to beat on isn’t a very good idea…

Anything less than Grade 12.9 screws with a Black Oxide coating is a waste of $$ IMO.
