ok i was running my savage today, and my rear end flew off in mid air about 5 feet up!!!!! some skrews rattled loose and the back end, shocktowers and all flew off the truck. it was freakin nuts. .... then i hit somthing in the grass and it almost killed my front end, you know on the skidplates how theres that rounded part in the middle to protect the differentials. whatever i hit chewed that bulge off, and almost took out the gears with it. i got so freakin lucky. time for alum skids!

i would have loved to have had video of the backend flying off in mid air and the dogbone flying out of site, picture coming up of the skid plate

didnt taek pics of the backend laying 10 yards behind my upside down truck, because i was like ohhhh poop! and worried since i just fixed it today because of a stipped clutch hub. but yeah, prett deep cut there

Hmmm looks like you have fun with it regardless it's nice and beat up. Right on. Yeah A pic of that would have been sweet.

I was doing wot passes with my MTX-3 today and had the car quite a ways away from me and I see it jump like 2 feet in the air! I hit a road refector. LMAO such a little thing make a car hop, I had to be doing 45mph when I hit it though:mex:

When you bolt the rear end back on, you should consider a little drop of blue thread lock on the metal-to-metal screws. It will help reduce the chance of your screws vibrating out. Especially, on the rear end, which gets the most vibration due to the engine vibrating right there.

Later...:mex:
