Looks like what Kyosho did with their rally car. Basically an MP7.5 platform with different configurations.

I will take brushless over a nitro any day . It is kinda bad at the local tracks they will not let us run our brushless stuff cause the don't wanna get SMMMMOOOOOKKKED.

That or they can't stand the drivers of them. My experience is the drivers that have come to the local track and drive wrecklessly to get around or through the racers and bashers. I like them both but remember that if it weren't for the craze for nitro, electric innovations would never have got this far.

If you are pointing that at me you have no clue, I helped start the hole start the hole Slash craze at the local tracks. I respect the nitro drivers, heck anyone that can tune here in South Louisiana is good, (weather is ever changing.) Lets face it, brushless is just better when done correctly.

I point it to anyone with that holier than thou attitude. If that means you then so be it. BUT I never directed it to you. Love the hobby and share it. Be proud of your rigs and not negative to others with different ones.

Heck I even bashed with a family at the local track that brought one revo and the kids brought their Walmart specials.

FYI I do have a clue, that is why I say it. Regardless if it is nitro or electric/brushless the love for it is the same.


I could care less if it is electric or nitro. If it brings one or two or more to bash somewhere then bring it on!

Thanks guy. Glad you all like it.
1) It is based off the RC8T (Truggy) which was based of the buggy so well yeah!\
2) The glow plug wire just goes to an adapter by the bumper so your glow igniter can reach it. Too deap with body and cage on.
3) Re-Fueling today was a pain but it worked

So I decided to play when there was a small break in the rain today. Took a long time to get it running decent in the cold. Ended up smoking the shaft on the roto start so I just went to my starter box. They sent it with a crappy plug so once I changed it the truck ran like a dream.

Well it runs like a beast. Never even got WOT but man can it slide. 2 tanks and rolled it once and just put it on it's side. Not even a full roll over yet. Much better handling than the slayer.

I had it caked in mud today. Forgot to take pics. Will get some pics and some vids tomorrow if I find a break in the rain. It's back to pouring here.


On a side note. I would like to get a second SC8 and go brushless with it just for the hell of it.

i think they only make 1 body for it but you can get them with a veriaty of sponsors/drivers. based off the CORR racing series.

I love the SC8 but I'd be another one of the stupid morons who'd sell all the Nitro stuff and fit Brushless I'm afraid, Nitro has next to no appeal to me. If you want anyone to blame blame Castle Creations and HPI.

BTW, what's the roll cage made out of? With as much bracing as it has I'm guessing plastic???
