RC Driving Style
I was working on my savy today, and relized, holy cow I have this thing tore down... I got the savy last febuary and havnt had it this torew down yet. I had to replace the one way, so I thought Id finally do the diffs. to while it was apart. Well that turned into while its apartI might as well do the 3 speed conversion too, which lead to a new new servo, which lead to a new humpack and here is where I sit.. (a Rc solutions cage has crossed my mind this evening... :ponder2: ) thought Id share some pics of my mess..lol

since you got it apart you can strip the rest of the purple off.

is that an orange in your tool box??

i got some kool coupons in the mail the other day. ill have to see if there still laying around here somewere.
 
Nice, kind of what my bench looks like most of the time...i like the mini tv....lol is that the race on there if so you must be a real fan...
 
Hey, I know how he feels. I broke down my Savage this weekend. Found that I need a few replacment parts. Here are a few photos of how my Savage looks now. I hope I remember how it goes back together :ponder2:

nice pile of parts you got there. anyway nice work area. do you find this hobby stressful (cigarettes)?:jk:
 
As others have said. The snack box with the orange and the Big screen TV are awesome. Nice Team RCNT plug ont he top and bottom corner of the bench. I see we havnet left 9th grade where you write on all your books n stuff.

God I wish I had a shop/pit/workbench area. I'm Jealous now.
 
LOL.. That orange thing is a fuel sucker out thingy that monkey sent me when I bought a glow ignitor from him. (I think he used it as a weiner pump and thought I needed it..lol). Yep thats by Big screen! Black and White bitches!! Old school..lol.. Yep I was watching the race. And no shittin I thought of Zandor as soon as I turned it on..lol.. Figured I better watch some of it so I know what you guys are talking about in here..lol

Yep theres a savy in there. Minus two wheels though. I have them on the shelf. Like that team rcnt sprayed on there?? lol.. Gotta use the rest of the paint in the paint brush for somethin! lol..

Me and my dad made the bench a few weeks ago. I really like it, but find the shelves and stuff fill up VERY fast. Plus is in the septic/furnace room, so its kinda Blair witchy, but it lets me turn the wrenches so its all good.
 
Heres some pics of the whole setup when I just got it built. Now theres a big storage box thingy underneath the bench as well.

Looks like where in the same boat..lol.. I forgot to add that I had to do a Racers edge screw kit as well. When I took down the diffs I was missing ALOT of screws. Have fun though man! I'm loving it. I love working on them.
 
nice work bench bud..I'm designing one right now. Hope to have it built within a few weeks.
 
yep, thats actually one of the things I have installed..lol.. its in the tvps if ya can find them..lol
 
Damn I just looked and saw a piece of it. I have to say, right now your desk makes my desk even messier looking!!!!

DAMN , andy is that what happens to a savage after its owner drinks a 6 pack of vault & smokes a pack of cigs? :)


mine is in the same boat right now, waiting for some nova diff cups & other stuff to come in from rush
ill have to get a picture of my pile-o-parts
 
I have to smoke all them cigs to calm my nerves from all the vault..lol..Kinda my solution to counter balence it..
