Savagex 4.1 steering issues...

well.. it was all working good until i hurt a curb a little bit to hard!

anyways.. i charged up the truck and the controller battries, and went to see if my issue was fixed but it wasent..

what happens is.. i turn both the truck and the remote at the same time.. and if i go from full left to full right.. and do that over and over.. it works fine, if i stop in the middle ( center, straight ) it wont turn.. just sounds like an electric motor spinning around .. and it will stop and then spin again when i go from left to right... but if i dont touch the controller and i just tap the wheels with my hand, it will quickly go from left ro right over and over until i grab the wheel and stop it!

and I'm not sure whats goin on there... haha

When you say sounds like a motor spinning around. Do you hear any cracking sounds in there? Also when turinng from left to right to does it lag? Is it slower at turning then normal. My guess is youve got some broken teeth in your servo. Let us know

yeah.. its sounds as if theres skiping going on... but the park i dont understand is why the wheels with go left right left right... ect for like 10 seconds.. and it seems to be going faster, and turning more then normal:S

ok well.. i realized it was the servo.. so i picked one up yesterday for 50$ and it has steel gears, got it all in and its good to go!!

and sicne its warmer out now.. i had to re adjust my carb, and it seems to be running rich ( lots of smoke and oil ) but when i try to go leaner.. it wont run very well..
