Savage21 diff removal

Hey all. Anyone out there got some tips on a easy way to remove my diff in the front and back of my savage.I noticed hpi had easy Instuctions on there web site but it looks to me like those are for the newer models of the savage.I tried there way and some screws are placed in different areas.My guess is haveing to remove it the old fashioned way. Any ideas guys????:\

I did both my diffs in the savage last night and today a mission and a half but done.

Good thing hpi made it easier to access the diff in the x models
