i was playing tonight with my savage and after about 5 min of running it shut off and now will start but will not idle i let it cool down and run it and same thing again i noticed there was oil all over the roto start so i pulled the roto plate and there was oil in there to is that ok

Realize the same problem with my OS.30 when i ran it today, nd the temps were strangely high too...so how do you properly seal a mill...i want to know please.:\

my temps where low and no it is stock i have not had the mill apart what all should i do thanks for any help

It could be coming from the exhaust port from running really rich and the exhaust gasket not sealing tight enough..Try leaning out the carb needles a little and change the exhaust gasket to see how it reacts. The optimal operating temp is around 265-275 degrees....The oilly residue behind and inside the rotostart is probably blow-by from running really rich too.The excess oil gotta go somewhere so it escapes through the bronze bushing under pressure..

ok i will clean it up and get a gasket and try leaning it out my temp where never above 245 do you think this is why i could never get it to do a wheelie

ok i looked at the exhaust gasket and it has a rip in it my question is will that rip make it run weired
