ok so i fired up the savage this passed sunday and the truck ran like a champ other the the carb out of sync. thats all fixed now, the problem i have now is at wide open throttle and then let out for some reason the truck will brake it self. i have never seen this i also just put brand new batteris in before i ran it. so why would the truck just put on brakes by its self for?

sorry guys one more question... i want a new savage xl 5.9 the two hobby shops we have here can't get the truck untill april or may because of back order is this true by the hobby shop or is the truck just not out yet? not to ask a stupid question and always thanks for the help!!!

This has happened to me when my servo glitched. I had it at full throttle, then it glitched, and it pulled back to the brake. Does this happen all the time or just once?

what is the voltage of your battery. check with the antena if it is broken or damaged.

Tower has the XL as not being available until mid April which in reality will mean sometime in May so your LHS is correct.

from what i can tell its all the time, now my roommate did drop the controler and bent the antenan could that the why? and thanks for the info on the savage

That should not have much of an affect.....if the antenna does not come up all the way it will shorten your range though. Check the throttle trim on your controller....if it is all the way to the brake side the truck could possibly brake itself when you let off the gas.
