Savage XS Flux Slipper Clutch problem

Hi guys,

Since it's impossible to find slipper clutch pads. I tried to make new pads out of leather like this video suggests.

It failed miserably. On full throttle, motor would not deliver the power to axles. Is it possible that the leathers made the clutch too tight and doesn't allow to slip? You can see the pads after 1st run.

So, do you have any idea to fix this up? Or maybe another clutch ideas to fit on this transmission?

I got some old welding glove you can have ..sorry had to raz u.. can you find a slipper for that I did when I did a simple search. mod another brand if you have 2...
