Just bought a new Savage XL. Kept it at factory settings(HSN+LSN). Already broke in the engine. For some reason, I can't get it to idle. When ever I brake or just take my finger off the throttle, the engine shuts down. Like I said, it's on the factory setting. Also, I suspected that it was way rich, so I leaned it out about 2/8(1/4). Still can't get it to idle. I also adjusted the idle needle, but nothing. I would have hoped that I would be pulling at least 45 m.p.h. by now. Any help would be great.

Hi, I'm new to nitro trucks but you might try playing with the throttle trimming on the radio. It's the same servo for both brake/throttle so I assume this just might help.

I have the same truck you have to adjust the idle screw try leaning out some more and but get the high speed set first its tankin me a week and a gallon to get it right. good luck
