Hey everyone I'm having a problem with my new Savage XL. I have'nt even run a gallon of fuel through it yet but it keeps shutting off every couple of minutes. I did seal the engine before I broke it in. I would say I'm on my 12th or 14th tank. The truck runs great when it's running but after about two minutes or so it just up and dies. It will start right back up and run for a little while and then it does it again. I called HPI about it and they told me that the engine must be goin bad but I can't see that because like i said it's a new truck fresh out of the box and I have'nt even put a gallon through it yet. Please help me figure this out I have never encountered this before and it's really starting to frustrate me.

HPI told you the engine was going bad
thats it?
they did not say the would warranty it or anything about sending itt back to them.
how long have you had it?
when it you say it just shuts off is it sitting still is it half throttle full throttle
let us know
what is the temp at when it shuts off
what are your needle set to?

No they didnt say anything about a warranty or sending it back the truck is practially brand new I bought it on Feb. 16th and it shuts off sitting still and at throttle the temps are running around 250-260 and i havent even got through the first gallon of fuel yet. The hsp needle is about 1/2 turn in from factory and the lsp needle is about where it was from the factory is has good acceleration and top speed but it just keeps shutting off about every two minutes or so
