My Savage xl is on its 9th tank, and I broke it in with 8 tanks. I am having an issues when it comes to WOT. I have decent low and mid range response, and the truck accelerates quite quickly. I also have a nice trail of smoke.

When I pull the trigger on the TX the engine revs, but when its about to max out the RPMs it stutters almost like a machine gun. I have been afraid of ruining the engine which is why I haven't ran many tanks through her.

Thanks for any advice,

Sur3fir3 :)

richen your HSN 1/16th trun and try it, sounds like it running out of fuel, whats your temps running?

My temps hardly ever go above 200. I usually warm it up slowly to about 160-180 then start doing some fast passes. Then it will goto about 210-220 max.

I have already purchased a LRP .30 with a ofna 053 pipe, so once they arrive in the mail i can put the 5.9 up. At that time I was thinking of resealing the engine to make sure its not an air leak issue.

unfortunately its raining hard here in FL today so I cannot take out this beast today to try out your advice, but I will tomorrow.

Thanks for your advice,
