savage x4.6 conversion to brushless

ok so i am very tempted to convert my saavae x4.6 into a brushless set up but not to sure what i need can anyone help me out with links to parts or kits and motors?mounts?speed controls stuff like that thanks

Not much else. Mine was given the extended chassis which needed a different motor mount and some modification, but with the stock version a motor, ESC and batteries are all you need.

how much roughly to do a set up like yours or similar? i want to go to brushless because the f4.6 big block is an unreiable motor in my opinion

I'm guessing about $450 with the batteries.

You can do it for a lot less. That one has a $300 ESC. Look into Castle Creations speed controllers.

Wow you could buy 2 LRP engines for what that costs. Why didn't you go brushless in the first place?
