I actually ran my savage today for the first time it runs beautiful but after the motor warms up it loses power I changed the air filter but it still keeps boggin down also arent all four wheels supposed to spin freely cause they are not it wont roll forward if I push it forward could the bogging be improper tuning or trash in the carb it is the original 4.6 engine thanks for helping in advance you guys are great:)

are your four wheels spinning when you give it throttle? If not you might have an issue in your diffs, but your motor shouldnt cutt off at high temps or high rpms, id reccomend making the lsn a bit leaner, by 1/16th incriments. Could be your glow plug dying out too...

edit; also make sure that when you push forward your brakes aren't applied, might just be your linkage being a bit off.

It won't roll forward when you push it forward??? Are you sure the knob that adjusts the brake is not too tight??? Try pushing it forward with both the radio and receiver off. Sounds to me like your brakes are dragging.

Thanks for your help once again it was my brakes dragging really glad I found this sight you guys really know what the hell you're talkin about and everyone is very helpful keep up the good work
