I have a savage x with the 4.6 in it. I just replaced the OWB and I went to start it today with a roto start and My OWB went out before I could even start it. Any one got any suggestions on what happened or y it happened.

i am not sure why so many people are haing problems with their OWB, i have had a savgage 25 since brand new and have never changed a OWB. maybe i am just lucky
some people say its the type of fuel you are using and the oil content.
i only use Byrons gen 2 race blend 20%

Are you backing the glow plug off about 1/4 turn when starting? My S25 would chew up OWB's if I didnt do this

I'm using 20 percent fuel could it be something with my roto start should I switch to a pull start

I will have to try that it has alot of compression in it
